Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) won the most National Assembly seats, 128 of the 272 covered here, followed by PPP (35) and independents (29). 4,558 candidates contested the National Assembly seats. In the provincial assemblies, PML-N won the most seats in Punjab (215 of 297), PPP won the most seats in Sindh (69 of 130), PTI won the most seats in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (34 of 99) and PKMAP won the most seats in Balochistan (10 of 51).
