Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf won the most National Assembly seats, 117 of the 272 covered here, followed by PML-N (65) and PPP (43). 3,442 candidates contested the National Assembly seats. In the provincial assemblies, PML-N won the most seats in Punjab (129 of 296), PPP won the most seats in Sindh (77 of 130), PTI won the most seats in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (71 of 115) and BAP won the most seats in Balochistan (15 of 51). The closest National Assembly result was NA-91 Sargodha, decided by 87 votes; the largest margin was 133,786 votes in NA-232 Thatta.
